FSU – Delta Sigma Pi [the future]
I had the privilege to speak to a great group at Florida State University on December 1. The group consisted of Brothers from Delta Sigma Pi, specifically the Gamma Lambda Chapter. My talk focused on what they could do NOW to prepare for the “Real World”. Some of the topics dicussed were:
- Stand out from the competition
- Mold your personal brand
- Take resume and bio to the next level
- Public speaking – Practice.Practice.Practice.
- We live in a global economy
- English alone isn’t good enough
- Tips and tricks to get ahead of competition
- Have a mentor
- Listen
- Don’t forget your family and health
